"Alle Macht der Imagination!" – "All power to the imagination!" - the motto of the French Surrealists before the Second World War and of the Czech filmmaker, poet and artist Jan Svankmajer, is also the title of the Dresden Art and Culture Festival 2022–2023 of the Dresden State Art Collections. It presents the most interesting positions of contemporary Czech art and their protagonists in dialogue with works of Czech modernism from the First Czechoslovak Republic.
