A comic book adaptation of a famous novel.
When surveyor K. is summoned to a village by the castle, he must first deal with a confusing hierarchy of assistants, messengers, clerks, secretaries - and mistresses. But how can he get the right instructions when no one knows what his employer looks like, the phones ring unanswered and, moreover, there doesn't seem to be any work for a surveyor in the village? One of the most important novels of the 20th century, its black humour and grotesqueness have lost none of their vividness, even nearly a hundred years after it was first published.
