Vyvrhel
The story of adventurer Max Barabander, who, after the death of his son, sets out from Argentina to his native Poland. He hopes for distraction and oblivion, but also for a new beginning after two years of problems with his potency. In Warsaw, he makes contact not only with the family of a pious rabbi, but mainly with the local underworld, and seeks help from a well-known spiritualist. Max becomes more and more involved, slipping deeper and deeper. He is clearly aware of his gradual fall and its inevitable consequences; however, he lacks the moral strength to confront his own evil inclinations and the temptations to which he is exposed by his surroundings.
