Michael Krupp's Eighteen Centuries of Israel is a concise overview of the history of the Land of Israel and especially of its Jewish inhabitants, from the watershed disaster of the destruction of the Second Temple through the turbulent history of persecution, hopes and achievements to the birth of the Zionist movement in the 19th century. In this book, the author refutes the widely accepted notion that the history of the Jews in Israel ends with the defeat of the Jewish revolt against Rome and begins anew only with the beginnings of Zionism and the establishment of the modern State of Israel. It depicts the plight of the Jewish minority who persevered in the Promised Land under foreign domination for eighteen centuries.

The book has been translated by Ruth J. Weiniger and has an afterword by Věra Tydlitátová.

The book is published by P3K Publishers and the Society of Christians and Jews. It was published with the kind support of Daniel J. Kratke.
