Osamělý člověk víry
Rabbi Yosef Dov (Bär) ha-Levi Soloveitchik was one of the most important representatives of modern Jewish theology in the 20th century. In his reflection Confrontation, he first outlined the thesis of a "dual species" of man, based on an interpretation of the dual biblical account of his creation. This thesis then became the basis for Soloveitchik's essay, The Lonely Man of Faith.
