Alia Trabucco Zerán (b. 1983) is a Chilean writer living between Santiago de Chile and London, and a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship. Her debut novel Countdown (2014) was one of the best literary debuts of the year according to El País and was shortlisted for the 2019 International Booker Prize. Her second novel Las Homicidas (2020) won the British Academy Book Prize 2022. Her novel Limpia (2022) is currently being translated into 13 languages.
