Three collections of poetry written from the turn of 1953/1954 and first published in the 1960s - Utkvělé černé ikony (1965), Stránky z deníku (1968) and Samosoud (originally Lynč, 1968) - present Jan Zábrana (1931-1984) as one of the most significant post-war Czech poets. This edition presents the definitive text of the collections, edited by the author compared to the first editions and, in the case of the collection Pages from a Diary, significantly expanded. Jiří Trávníček has prepared the edition and written the editorial note.
